      <image:caption>I am a physical therapist with 20 years of experience. My goal is to keep people moving throughout their lifetime and be an important part of my patients healthcare team for creating lasting lifestyle change and resilience. My approach to healing involves the whole body, not just a painful body part. I want to help my patients understand how their unique body moves and that what they are putting into their body has a significant effect on their health and wellness. I received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University and my undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University in Kinesiology. Throughout my career, I have enhanced my professional skills by becoming certified by the US McKenzie Institute as a Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment Specialist, FMS Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), and by Titleist Performance Institute as a golf fitness and medical professional. My newest endeavor has been pursuing an Applied Functional Medicine Certification as a health coach. I want to be a good resource and guide for my patients as they try to improve their overall health. Our body works as an interconnected system. I am enthusiastic about sharing my understanding of how our gut function, hormones, and cellular metabolism all contribute to our musculoskeletal and neuromuscular systems to impact pain, injury, neuropathy, arthritis, etc.</image:caption>
